Go nuts
Have a handy pack of almonds, coal nuts, cashew and even peanuts within reach. They are high in potassium and fiber. And if you’re worried about uric acids, go for the big nut—coconut. It’s the best diet food in the world—low-fat, high-fiber, high-nutrient.
Hydrate
Drink up on the purest beverage ever—water, plain and simple. One glass every hour on the hour should keep you safe from the debilitating heat of summer. Put a pinch of rock salt on the tips of your tongue in order to help your body maintain water longer. Remember, salt retains water.
Move it
Take up a sport, do gardening, brisk-walk, whatever will keep you on the go. If you don’t move your body, you will not burn fat. If you keep still, you will gain weight.
Unwind
Even workaholics need to take a break. Those who cannot keep still are continuously stressed. And the organ under pressure is the heart. So draw up a relaxation regimen, one that includes weekly massages, enough sleep, and no work.
Use herb basil to unwind. Place three fresh leaves in a cup of hot water. Sip your way to a stimulated brain, uplifted spirits and perked up circulation. Basil is a potent herb so use it sparingly. It can be an effective detox tea to cleanse the digestive tract.
