Staying fit this summer (1 of 2)

It’s a good feeling to look great this summer. Most people needs a good body shape. So you have to stay fit. As I also wanted to get fit this summer, I read a lot of books and magazine to have more tips on how can I be fit. It’s a good thing that I read some tips from Cory Quirino that I know will help me and you also out there. Let me share it with you.

If you want to be fit this season, here are a few ways from the experts. Macronutrients are the way to go, as well as macro-consciousness. Be aware of the things that keep you well. Whether it’s to lose weight, improve your complexion, boost your immune system or increase your energy level, there are some pointers you need to remember.

Awareness
Know that certain lifestyle habits have the capacity to slowly but surely contribute to your health condition in the future. Even if today you are not feeling any debilitating symptoms, chances are, these very symptoms will eventually emerge.

Take the case of Frederick, a high-powered entrepreneur, a heavy drinker bordering on alcoholic. Despite the persistent hyperacidity bothering him for years, which he corrected with antacids, he continued his alcohol-bingeing ways until he developed ulcer. With medication, his condition improved, but he went back to his heavy partying ways. Within five years, he developed stomach cancer. While still in the early stages of this disease, he submitted himself to chemo and dropped his reckless abuse of alcohol. For how long, no one can say. The rule is, be aware that what you put in your mouth will have a beneficial or detrimental effect on your body.

Moderation
No one is telling you to completely abandon roast pork or cheesecake. If you do, the word “diet” would develop a bad reputation. Simply go simple: A little bit of everything never hurts your internal condition, but a lot of everything will. Measure your indulgence. If you’re used to a full plate of cravings, make it ¼ a plate. Now that’s easy, right?
