Body odor is caused by the food we eat

Good morning friends. While we are growing, you will notice that our body is changing in many ways. Good or bad ways, we must know how to deal with it. To people specially to woman, scent aroma is very important. That’s why we should always be aware of everything. Like for instance, the body odor. Did you know that body odor is caused by the food we eat?

Bromidrosis or fetid perspiration is commonly known as body odor. It is caused by many factors, and not by the food we eat alone. Body odor is an unpleasant smell that comes off the body, usually from the hands and feet, groin, and underarms due to the concentration of the endocrine and apocrine glands in these area. It is often associated with sweat or physical activity. Extra strong or unusual smells may indicate a more serious condition (fungal infection, diabetes, or gastrointestinal disorders).

In more cases, body odor is due to poor hygiene practices. This condition can be corrected by frequent and proper bathing and the use of deodorants and/or antiperspirants. The entire body should be washed with soap and water. Drying the whole body thoroughly after taking a bath will also help since the microorganisms that can cause body odor thrive well when moisture is present. Wearing clean clothes and undergarments, and eating a well balanced died also helps in preventing body odor.
